NSFK Regiment 26 (NSFK Standarte 26)

A square red flag with a flying man in natural colors and white outstretched wings (as in the party eagle) slightly above the center. Above the letters NS-Fliegerkorps, below the word Standarte followed by the unit number. A black-white-red fringe along the fly and the bottom.
Norman Martin, Feb 1998

The regimental standard is incorrect in regard to proportion and font, see period photo of such a flag here.
The "flying man" displayed on the banners is Icarus and was the symbol of the NSFK, the same image is used in most NSFK items.
Marcus Wendel, 14 Feb 2008

NSFK was a paramilitary aviation organization that replaced the Deutsche Luftsportverband which was dissolved in 1935.
Marcus Wendel, 1999
